As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Bluegrass Youth Debate holds zero profit incentives. Our founders are committed to service and giving back to our community with all proceeds being donated to underserved communities and education for Kentuckians.

Why Donate?

Kentucky is a state of deep roots and strong spirit, but also one of the highest poverty rates in the nation. Much of the Commonwealth is rural, with 54 counties in the Appalachian Region. Eastern Kentucky is characterized by its generational poverty, limited access to resources, and underfunded schools. Across the state, historic and increasingly frequent floods devastate numerous communities, displacing families and destroying homes.

At the same time, educational opportunities remain out of reach for many students, especially these rural and low-income areas. By donating, you help provide direct aid to flood victims, support unhoused individuals, and fund educational programs that empower Kentucky’s youth to rise above systemic barriers. Bluegrass Youth Debate supports Kentucky.
